Dressing My Truth

So, I recently bought the Dressing Your Truth course and while I agreed with most of it...I did not agree with no silver, black, or gray...which are colors I like...I actually love silver jewelry...I understand that these colors do not contain movement which apparently is what I as a Type 3/4 needs...but I am not going to give them up completely...especially since my wedding set is white gold...just saying


I also have been learning about ZYLA colors and even though these colors are hard to finalize, I am more pleased with the results because this system uses your natural colors to help you design a color palate....since I like gray and black...I was happy to discover that the rim around my eye is a combination of these colors...

Currently Craving....

I love this orange dress and I am currently on the hunt for one in one of the consignment shops that I frequent. I recently found the Micheal Kors purse ($145 never used) in a consignment shop. I also purchased leopard Anne Taylor ($12) shoes from the same shop.

Nothing to Wear

We've all been there...in the closet looking at hundreds of clothing items and snd saying, "I don't have anything to wear" This year I have decided to do something about my closet for two reasons...1) the reason stated before and 2) my mother is a hoarder and while tryibg to clean her house I kept hearing, "I might use that" or "That was from..." and I realized that I have made these same comments about clothes in my closet and items in my home...time for me to break that hoarding spirit before it becomes a way of life for me...I've cleared the house and the last thing on the list is my closet...it is my hope to create a closet dream that is workable and fashionable...so starts my journey...
